Continua a leggereGreat Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club is one of England’s classic links, founded in 1882 on the wide, wind-shaped coast of Norfolk. This contemporary course map captures its heritage and openness with quiet confidence, turning the routing into a refined piece of wall art while preserving the sense of space, rhythm, and challenge that make it so memorable to play. For anyone with a fondness for true links golf — firm underfoot, fast-running, and guided by the breeze — it’s a beautifully understated tribute.
From above, the layout presents as a broad horizontal band that drifts across the print, with select holes branching lower to create a natural, staggered silhouette. The compass below places north to the left, subtly reorienting the viewer and emphasizing the course’s journey along the coast. Fine clusters of soft, sand-toned bunkers punctuate the dark-green fairway forms, while a single pale-blue water shape in the upper-left acts as a serene counterweight — a quiet splash of color that anchors the composition.
The map’s pared-back style highlights the essentials: elongated fairways with narrow necks and gentle bends, green complexes protected by sculpted sand, and the generous breathing room that defines open linksland. It reveals a routing with genuine flow — holes that stretch, turn, and settle into their own cadence — and invites you to recall (or imagine) shots played low under the wind, bump-and-run approaches, and the tactical dance between contours, angles, and hazards.
Created from high‑resolution mapping sources and carefully drawn by hand, this print is both accurate and artful. The fine border, generous margins, and classic typography — complete with the club’s founding year — give it a timeless presence on the wall. Whether you’re a long-standing member, a visitor who still remembers the feel of the turf underfoot, or a gift‑giver marking a special connection, it’s a sophisticated way to celebrate a proud Norfolk links.
Clean, modern design — made from real data
We build each course map by hand from high‑resolution satellite data and detailed land records, distilling the true layout into a clean, contemporary composition.
The result is minimal, stylish, and timeless — a piece that honors real course detail while feeling elegant and uncluttered on the wall.
Looks good anywhere
Designed to complement both classic and modern interiors, this print looks at home in a living room, study, office, golf room, hallway, or clubhouse — wherever stories of great rounds are told.
A genuinely brilliant gift for golfers
Thoughtful, personal, and beautifully made, this is the rare golf gift that feels genuinely meaningful — a lasting reminder of a favorite course and the moments it inspires.
Perfect for:
- Birthdays
- Retirements
- Father’s Day
- Golf trips
- Club championships
- Memorial trophies or friendship gifts
- Wedding or anniversary presents for golf-loving couples
A distinctive, heartfelt keepsake that celebrates real golfing memories — far more special than the usual golf gift.
Looking for a different course? You can commission a custom map of any golf course in the world, created to suit the course, location and style you have in mind.
This golf course map can also be personalised. We can discreetly mark a favourite hole, add a small illustration of you and a playing partner on the course, or place a dedication beneath the title. Each detail is carefully composed so that it feels like a natural part of the map.
Customisation, sizing and framing
For guidance on size, colour or framing, or to request an option that is not available online, please contact us. A member of our team will be happy to advise, and we usually respond within a few minutes.
The fifth listing image shows an example of our map personalisation service. Zoom in to see how the additional details have been integrated into the original design, or browse more examples of personalised maps.
You can also choose to have your map carefully aged, giving it the softer colour, patina and character of an older antique print. An example is shown in the sixth listing image, and you can view further examples of our ageing treatments.
The model in the listing images is holding the 18x24in (45x60cm) version of this map.
This golf course map can be printed and framed at sizes up to 3 metres (10ft). For a bespoke size or framing option that is not shown online, please get in touch.
The map is available as a giclée print on acid-free archival matte paper, or professionally framed and ready to hang. Our standard frames are offered in six carefully selected finishes: black, dark brown, dark grey, antique gold, oak and white. A wider range of mouldings, mounts and finishes is available through our custom framing service.
Our frames are glazed with super-clear museum-grade acrylic, chosen for its excellent clarity and reduced reflections. It is also substantially lighter and safer than conventional glass, making it particularly well suited to larger framed maps.
This map is also available as a float framed canvas, sometimes known as a shadow gap framed canvas or canvas floater. The map is printed on artist's cotton canvas and then stretched over a handmade box frame. We then "float" the canvas inside a wooden frame, which is available in a range of colours (black, dark brown, oak, antique gold and white). This is a wonderful way to present a map without glazing in front. See some examples of float framed canvas maps and explore the differences between my different finishes.
For something truly unique, this map is also available in "Unique 3D", our trademarked process that dramatically transforms the map so that it has a wonderful sense of depth. We combine the original map with detailed topography and elevation data, so that mountains and the terrain really "pop". For more info and examples of 3D maps, check my Unique 3D page.

Most orders are made locally and delivered in around 2–3 working days, depending on the product, size and destination.
We print and frame maps and artwork in 23 countries around the world, so your order is usually made close to you or your recipient. That means faster delivery, less time in transit, and no customs or import duty surprises.
Personalised and customised pieces usually take an extra 1–2 working days, because we prepare your design and send it to you for approval before printing.
Very large framed orders can take a little longer, as they need extra care in production and delivery.
Every order is carefully packaged: unframed prints are sent in a strong protective tube, while framed pieces are securely packed with protective materials around the frame.
If you need your order by a particular date, please contact us before ordering. We’ll check the best production route and delivery option for your location.
Express delivery is available at checkout for most countries. Next-day delivery is available in the UK, US, Singapore and the UAE.
Your order is covered by our 90-day returns policy and 10-year guarantee.
Our standard frame is a gallery-style black ash hardwood frame, with a simple, modern look. It is approximately 20mm (0.8in) wide. You can also view some lovely customer photos of framed maps and art.
We use super-clear acrylic glazing, also known as Perspex or Acrylite, instead of traditional glass. It is lighter, safer, and has lower reflectivity, giving the artwork a clearer, cleaner appearance.
Six standard frame colours are available at no extra cost: black, dark brown, dark grey, oak, white, and antique gold. Custom framing and mounting/matting is also available for customers looking for something more specific.
Most maps, art prints, and illustrations are also available as a framed canvas. We use matte cotton canvas, stretch it over a sustainably sourced wooden box frame, and then float the piece within a wooden outer frame. The finished result is beautifully presented, with no glazing between you and the artwork.
All frames are supplied ready to hang, with either string or brackets fitted to the back. Very large frames will include heavy-duty hanging plates and/or a mounting baton. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
We can also supply old maps and artwork on canvas, foam board, cotton rag, and other materials.
If you would prefer to frame your map or artwork yourself, please read our size guide before ordering.
Every Unique Maps piece begins with an authentic cartographic source or an original design from our London studio.
For our historic maps, we source rare originals from libraries, archives, auction houses and private collections around the world. We carefully restore each map for print—repairing age-related damage, balancing colour and improving clarity while preserving its original detail, texture and character.
Once restored, the map is prepared for your chosen size and finish. Your piece is then printed and, where selected, framed close to its delivery destination.
Our map prints use acid-free 200gsm archival matte paper and fade-resistant pigment inks, creating a rich, non-glossy finish designed to last. Framed maps use crystal-clear optical acrylic and arrive ready to hang.
Canvas, cotton-rag and other specialist presentations are also available. Learn more about our materials and finishes.
Personalising your map
You can add a short title or dedication, mark one meaningful place, or request one considered visual detail. For personalised designs, we send a proof before printing and you can request changes before approval.
